DRAFT 1
Family is like a shoe

Family is like a shoe.
It's beautiful in the beginning
But wears and tears in the end.
Some mend it but
Many throws them away.
Sadly, mine was the majority.
And it left an unmendable scar.

DRAFT 2
SHOE

I'm a shoe without a partner.
but I'm not a loner.

I walked the entire world a round
But he's still nowhere to be found.

It may be an impossible mission,
but waiting is my intuition.

with love he will find me on the dot,
and then we will tie the knot.


my very first two poems. not sure if it's good. but I had some comments that it's good. :)
Sharon, my teacher, liked the first one better. she says that she could feel that I was trying too hard to make the second poem sounds nice and rhythm. and the first one had a strong feeling.
yea.. and I'm going to improve my draft 1 and use it as my final draft.
